Extreme hunger is more than a problem; it is ravishing countries around the world, and leaving children demolished in the wake of its devastation. According to UNICEF:

  • Every 3.6 seconds one person dies of starvation, and usually it is a child under the age of five.
  • One billion children are severely deprived of at least one of the essential goods and services they require to survive, grow and develop.
  • Some 300 million children go to bed hungry every night.
This is one of the biggest issues we are passionate about, and committed to seeing effective and lasting change brought to people affected by it. Sometimes the greatest expression of love can be something as simple as providing a meal.

In our Feeding programs we give vitamin enriched soy as well as corn, and we offer the opportunity for people to partner with us by purchasing the 25kg bags. These bags of vitamin enriched soy and corn are a staple for African families and children. To purchase one bag will feed a family of four for a month. Ten bags can feed 10 families!

We also offer our partners the opportunity to donate by purchasing bowls - who would have thought that bowls would be a scarce commodity, but they sure are in Africa! After we get the food to the people, we need a way for them to eat it. We need bowls, and lots of them! You can help us purchase 10 bowls for $10, a simple, but very important way to be a part.
